Sales Engineer

We are looking for a motivated, self-driven individual who will be responsible for technical sales and work on growing existing accounts with our VP of Sales. The position requires making prospective calls and responding to inbound leads for the purpose of creating interest and qualifying potential opportunities for the sales of our product. Due to the nature of the product, knowledge in the engineering or computer science field is required.

General description of this position:

  • Generates new business and ensures growth of existing accounts.
  • Assesses potential application of company products or services and offers solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Researches and presents reports showing potential customers the cost/ benefit of purchasing company products or services.
  • Provides technical training to clients and communicates customer feedback into future product developments.
  • Uses technical knowledge of product offerings to support and build sales. Is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related studies
  • 3+ years experience in Professional/Business Sales (B2B)
  • 1-3 years of technical support experience
  • Highly refined writing and speaking skills
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
