NeoSpeech History

NeoSpeech  was founded in August of 2002 by industry veterans Dr. Lin Chase and Dr. Yoon Kim with the goal of providing innovative technology and applications that are based on human-machine interfaces that are ubiquitous, multimodal and interactive. NeoSpeech has quickly established its position as the fastest growing startup in the industry, showcasing its world-class text-to-speech technology with commitment to ultimate customer satisfaction. We are a privately held company headquartered in Santa Clara, California

The main investor in NeoSpeech, Inc. is Voiceware Co., Ltd of Korea. Voiceware established its entity in 1999, as a spin-off entity of LG, one of the major conglomerates in Korea. Most of Voiceware's core members were from LG, combining 15+ years of basic speech R&D expertise from LG Institute of Technology with management experience in global software business from LG Soft. Voiceware enjoys immense brand recognition as the pioneer and market leader of text-to-speech technology in Korea, and went public in June of 2002, in the technology-centric KOSDAQ market.
